Ahmad Zia Bomya the director of South Asian Free Media Association (SAFMA) was injured in an explosion yesterday.
Mr. Bomya who is a long standing figure in media activities of the country was injured yesterday in an explosion which took place in Chaman Huzuri.
Afghanistan’s National Journalists Union (ANJU) sincerely regrets this incident; however it is fortunate to know that Mr. Bomya’s injuries are minor.
The supreme council, the executive council, and members of ANJU wish Mr. Bomya a swift and complete recovery.
