Afghanistan's National Journalists High Council:Assembly of Union should be held within three months

This afternoon the session of Afghanistan's National Journalist union high council was conducted in the presences of 29 members out 44.

In the beginning of the meeting, Faheem Dashty chief executive of union briefly reported the activities of the union in the past six months.

- Details of financial  issues,  

- preparation of a new series statute of the union , 

- verification of ethical codes of the union ,

- role of the union in the activities of Afghanistan journalist federation,

The key discussion of the meeting was the approval of activities of this union in 12 provinces as well to send an Invitation for recruit members in other provinces to join  the union. 

In this meeting a very important decision also has enacted about  individuals who would be able to convey the project of this union and interact with international supporter entities, and also would be able to give necessity advices in the planning of ANJU. 

ANJU high council also has decided that in the future most probably at the end of Agust to held general assembly of in Kabul, as well for provincial assembly a "provision committee" will be establish in the presence of eight member of this union. 

General assembly would  working on to enact new statute and ethical codes of the union as well assigning the members of high council. based on current statute of the union election of executive board will be among the high council members. 

the suggestion of executive board to an invitation of media personalities to the high council, particularly media personalities of provinces that the union restarted its activities in those provinces was enacted ,the recruits and current members of high council would be operating until the general assembly held. 

In the meeting decided to call all other media to contribute technical and financial support with this union ,in the past a number of media had started their contribution with ANJU such as , Tolo Tv , Khurshid Tv,  Arman Milie and 8:AM daily newspaper.
