Number of media representatives has attained the meeting of Cultural Commission of lower house of parliament to presents their complaints on repeated violation of law by minister of culture Sayed Makhdum Rahin .
In the meeting the culture minister also were present, but avoided to give clear response to complaints of Journalists
Jour nalists says, their main demand is to implement media law, and also to form mass media commission which has been enacted based on code 42 of mass media laws, But minister of culture has been refusing the demands until the end of the meeting
In the past three years that he was minister of culture, despite to ignore the formation of mass media commission he constituted illegal commission, known as media complaints commission,
Sayed Makhdun Rahin says, based on President Karzi's order,he has been formed the media complaints commission instead of mass media commission, but such a unlawful act is unacceptable to media entities, and emphasizes that president's order cannot be against the law.
The members of cultural commission of parliament also emphasizes the implementation of law, Hila Ershad, addressed minister of culture, if the order of president Karzi to be against the law Its illegitimate ,
In the past some complaint letter of mass media representatives repeatedly has been presented to the Senate members in which carried out sixty signatures by mass media entities,
The members of cultural commission also states on modification of code 42-43 of mass media laws which has demanded by ministry of culture, Journalists in the meeting were ask to express their views in this aspect, while they have promised to C.C to express their opinions after the handling of modification,
Meanwhile they demanded from C.C to convince minister of culture, before enacting the modification, he has to cancel illegal complaints commission of media, and to form mass media commission,
The demanded of modification by culture minister is about to change the combination of mass media commission and their responsibilities.
Media representatives in the meeting also emphasized on approaching other commissions of Parliament to complaints on violation of law by minister of culture,
