ANJU welcomes the mark of Afghan National Journalists Day

The cabinet of National Unity Government in its today’s meeting marked March 18, 2019 as the National Journalists Day in the country. The day, received wide spread celebration. 


ANJU warmly welcomes the marking of this day and due to the critical role of Afghan media outlets and journalists in providing accurate information to the public, it highlights this day as an important step in building the morals of Afghan journalists and media activists. More than a hundred journalists, senior government officials, including Second Vice President Sarwar Danish, civil society organizations, and international community attended the event which was organized for celebrating this day. 


Furthermore, ANJU appreciates the efforts of all media outlets in marking this day as National Journalists Day. 


We at ANJU look forward for a wonderful job by afghan media family and hereby announce our commitments in sharing the truth with public. 


We will strive hard to come through the challenges and barriers that Afghan journalist face on daily basis while performing their duty. 


We will also work to empower journalism of the country by supporting media work by utilizing any possible means.
