Arshad Hunaryar responsible for Asia Press in Afghanistan has been beaten up by unknown armed men last night.

Mr. Hunaryar said to Bukhdi Press that last night some unknown men attacked him in western Kabul around Kart-e-sea locality.

He said the men who attacked him were wearing veils and having knifes. He added: “Last night at 7pm when I left the University and I was heading home, I was surrounded by three veiled unknown men next to a Mosque identified as “Umar Jan Qandahary Mosque”.

Mr. Hunaryar said that the three men attacked and punched, and when the locale people came out of their homes the attackers fled. 

Kart-e-sea is almost a peaceful and secure locality of Kabul city where some international institutions are located and some high ranking officials are already inhabited.

Sometime before a female actor of TV plays was also killed in this district.

Due to devilish attack on him some parts of his body has got internal bleeding and his kidney has also been severely damaged.
