The coordination meeting, with the participation of all ANJU provincial members, was headed by Mr. Ateequllah Quraishi, provincial manager of ANJU in Laghman. Mr. Quraishi delivered the starting speech welcoming the participants and praised the activities of ANJU members in Laghman. “Any reporters who face challenges while in duty, should inform us on time to lead the debate over the challenge and its solution in an appropriate manner.” Added Mr. Quraishi. He, while thanking the HQ of ANJU in improvement and building the capacity of local journalists and reporters in Laghman, also expressed that his provincial staff need more initiatives to build their capacities. The speakers who followed Mr. Quraishi, expressed their opinions over widening and improving the overall activities of ANJU in Laghman. The speakers also asked the HQ to conduct more programs for the sake of improving their works and efforts. Certification letters were distributed at the end of the ceremony to the participants on the mark of National Journalists Day.
