Yesterday evening Mohammad Ibrahim Hashimi the reporter of Radio Adib in Baghlan province has been attacked by gunmen and seriously wounded when he was going home from office with his brother Mohammad Mosa.
According to Mohammad Mosa Hashimi the brother of Ibrahim Hashimi, they have been stopped by gunmen and fired on his brother and wounded him in Pul-e- Khumri district, center of Baghlan while going home and also he has been beaten by gunmen.
Hashimi’s health condition is not good and needs to be treated in Kabul or one of the neighbor countries.
Security officials of Baghlan say that in this case, the investigation has begun, according to security officials, at least one of the accused has been arrested in this incident.
Zabih Shojah the spokesmen of Baghlan police says; the detainee is the main suspect of this incident and they are trying to find his partners.
Habib Rahman Sherzai the owner of Radio Adib also confirms that the police have detained the main suspect of the incident.
