Pakistani newspapers ban inside Afghanistan

Based on a German newspaper “Frankfurter algumaina” the sale and distribution of Pakistani newspapers which are spreading propaganda against Afghan people and Government are banned inside Afghanistan.

In 22nd issue of this newspaper on Saturday September 2012 it’s explained that the Taliban propaganda inside Pakistani newspapers could negatively affect Afghan people and they are against interests of Government and people of Afghanistan.

These newspapers are banned by Ministry of internal affairs of Afghanistan. The German newspaper adds that the Afghan borders’ police have been ordered to prevent and capture the entering Pakistani newspapers across eastern borders of Kunar, Noorstan and Jalalabad Provinces. It’s said that these newspapers were freely being sold and read in Nengarhar, Kunar, Noorstan and Turkhan cities. In the report only four cities are mentioned; but in fact Pakistani newspapers are distributed in most of the eastern, north-east and south-west provinces of Afghanistan.
