Journalists Support Fund (JSF) helped an injured journalist to complete the treatment process.

Imran Lemar, local radio reporter of a radio channel in Nangarhar, was injured two weeks ago.

He was seriously injured in Jalalabad city as of the attack by unknown gunmen. Which was then shifted to an equipped national hospital because of the efforts of Journalists and media organizations federation, and security agencies.

The doctors expressed that if Imran was not shifted to Kabul on time, his situation might be seriously deteriorated. However, as of the quick action by the federation, he seems to recover soon.

Most of the journalists have been supported financially theurge the fund, because based on the procedure, any journalists who face injuries while on duty or faced with non-curable disease, is aided financially through the JSF. But the proposals for seeking financial assistance should be evident and actual.
