Ministry of Interior requested the media institutes to not use the flying cameras. The ministry said in a statement that the decision taken by the council of National Security and issue to this ministry.
Apparently the reason for prohibiting the use of the camera known as creating security problems.
Before these cameras were using in a big protest and security officials on that time claims that by using these cameras the security bases and Presidential palace have been photographed.
The media support agencies says, the prohibit of flying cameras by the ministry of interior is a contrary to freedoms of speech for media activists which is guaranteed by the law of the country.
Afghanistan’s National Journalists Union which is issue a statement in this regard has called this action illegal by the security institutes.
Part of the statement said: “focusing the special security situation in the country, maybe the use of these flying cameras will be prohibited in some special limited areas.
In this statement they have requested from the government to support media support and advocacy agencies and issue a temporary instruction, so in one side the media agencies use these flying cameras and secondly these flying cameras should create any security problems.
