Media expresses gratitude to (MOI) for its consideration of reporter's complaints
In the past few months, majority of reporters have had complaints of violence and illegal acts by Takhar province chief of police.
ANJU has presented these complaints on few cases to MOI officials in this regard, and the last case all the documents which were handed over to ANJU through Takhar reporters, were also presented to Minister of Interior himself.
A couple of days ago ministry of interior has deposed the police chief of Takhar province for his aggressive behavior against reporters , ANJU strongly expresses its gratitude to Minister of Interior, and says it's a fine step towards better accentuation of rule of law in the country.
Similarly a month ago, Nadim Ghori a key reporter in Ghor province was intimidated. ANJU has contacted chief of police of Ghor province in this respect and the support given by ghor province police to Mr. Ghori, is another remarkable message for journalists to continue their work in harmony without any concern.
While appreciating the affective reaction of the officials, ANJU also laid emphasize that the symbiosis between media and government can be the best way towards saving freedom of speech in the country.
