Declaration in concern to the release of Mohsen Hashemi's Murder suspects
A court in Kapisa province voted to release the suspected murderers of Mohsen Hashemiwho was working for private radio called Voice of Nijrab.
This vote came while the court of Nijrab district of Kapisa province sentenced two of the suspects (two brothers of Mohsen Hashemi) for 16 and the others (Father and younger brother of Hohsen Hashemi) were known innocent.
The prosecutor of the case at the carious stages of prosecution has said that there is enough evidence to accuse the suspects in murder of Mohsen Hashemi.
While strongly protesting against the release of the suspects of this incident, Afghanistan's National Journalists Union (ANJU) suggests the Supreme Court to review the case carefully and give its verdict regarding the case.
considering the previous similar cases, ANJU is concern that most of the suspects of journalists murders were not identified, and once again wants the judicial institutions to pursue these cases as a priority in their agenda.
