Perpetrators of the attack on Radio “Hamisha Bahar” must be brought to justice
According to the reports from Nengarhar province, gunmens attacked the local radio station named “Hamisha Bahar” in the City of Jalalabad.
This Morning’s attack apparently looks that might be done by a member of Nangarhar provincial council.
According to the received reports, The attackers despite of Firing on the Building of “Hamisha Bahar” Radio station, have also beaten up the Director of the Radio.
Afghanistan's National Journalists Union while believing any forms of violence against journalists and Media are illegal, requests all responsible and advocacy institutions to bring the perpetrators of the attack to justice.
Whereas ANJU believes that the Ministry of Information and Culture is Failed for the safety of Journalists and Media, requests that authorities of the Ministry of Information and Culture should be asked about their failure for the safety of Journalists and Media by the Parliament and Ministry of interior should bring the perpetrators of the recent case to the justice.
