National Security Department should not function instead of MIC
A number of visual media presented some documents to Afghanistan's National Journalists Union that seems to be issued by National Security Department of Afghanistan.
This document calls visual Media to provide information to National Security Department about their internal and external financial resources including their staff.
It is done while, according to Mass Media Law the review of Media financial resources is considered the duty of Ministry of Information and Culture; But Ministry of Information and Culture, like many other cases has failed to fulfill their responsibility, therefore National Security Department attempts to actualize this part of Mass Media Law.
Afghanistan's National Journalists Union continually requested the enforcement of Mass Media Law,and in this particular case, again requests the enforcement of Law, But emphasis that the Implementation of law should be carried out only through legal channels and none of the governmental entities should exceed its competence.
