In last weeks while the elections’ disputes were hot and serious in Afghanistan, in different parts of the country incidents has occurred to journalist which is unfortunate.
Two days ago a journalist was beaten up by some armed individuals in Ghazni Province and his equipment was snatched. Else more a young journalist in Mazar e sharif gets killed in during the day and A Pakistani journalist becomes condemned of four years of jail by a provincial court.
Farther more in a day time a journalist gets beaten up by the body guards of governor in Ghazni and another journalist gets beaten by armed individuals and gets injured in Herat province. Meanwhile incidents such as; intimidations of journalist in Takhar, Kapisa and Paktika provinces are reported.
The governmental inclinations have shown no reaction against such violence. Despite that security forces try for the pursuit of these cases, but no result from such endeavors has been coped. From the other hand, ministry of information and culture which is directly responsible for the activities of Media in the country, has not shown any reaction against such cases.
At least about the incidents that have occurred in last couple of weeks, no voice has been raised by this ministry, for supporting of journalist or denouncing of the violence against them, this gonna be a dream that the ministry along with cooperation of security and detecting forces follow these incident and bring the doers of these incidents to justice. Despite Afghanistan’s national journalists union is thankful NAI the supporter of Media in Afghanistan and the committee for immunity of Media in Afghanistan, for their endeavors for the pursuit of these case and denounces the recklessness and idleness of ministry of information and culture and once again reminds the reckless authorities of this ministry that their inattention to their responsibilities will cause them ignominy in history.
Afghanistan’s national journalists .union also declares that it is for serving of every journalist and Media all around Afghanistan and asks them in case of any problem let this union know and they should believe that this union will not withhold any endeavor for the entitlement of their rights
