Heightened March is the National day of Journalists. Afghanistan's National Journalists Union congratulates the national day of Journalists to Media activist and Professionals in the country.
We believe that the endorsement of numerous victims and extensive effort of journalists and media professionals is one of the main factor in the development of free Media, freedom of expression and ensuring the free flow of information in the country.
We emphasis that the freedom of expression and free media is the greatest achievement in the last thirteen years,which Afghan government and international institutions have had plenty of help in this regard. We also appreciate the efforts of those who have invested in Media sector of the country.
ANJU believes that the current concerns about the future of freedom of expression and Media activities in the county is realistic; But there is a way out to avoid the restrictions on Media activities and to draw a line showing the freedom of expression.
Unity and cooperation of Journalists across the country is one of the shortest paths to maintain the values and achievements of previous years.ANJU while committed itself in this regard will take concrete steps to facilitate the unity of Journalists and media activists. We hope success and honor to all our Journalists.
