The Government officials have beaten up two reporters and a Driver of Khorshid Private TV yesterday.
The reports which have broadcasted by Media show that this incident occurred in front of the Ministry of Information and Culture by the employees of Presidential palace.
Afghanistan's National Journalists Union while refusing any kind of violence against Journalists believes it an illegal action, and request the government officials to bring to justice the perpetrate of this case.
ANJU emphasis that the number of the car has been captured by the camera man and there is no reason for the failure of responsible institutions in finding these criminals.
We believe that every problem can be solved through dialogues, even if the Journalists is blame but now one can justify the beating of journalists.
Afghanistan's National Journalists Union believes that the main factor of increase in violence against Journalists is the failure of Ministry of information and culture in fulfilling its responsibility.
However, based on laws of the country, The Ministry of Information and culture is responsible for the safety of Journalists but not only the ministry of information and culture don’t have a plan for their safety even if journalists are beaten up in front of the Ministry there is no reaction from them.
