Today evening, Ahmad Saeedi, aware of political issues, author and former diplomat has been injured in an armed attack in Shahr-e-Naw of Kabul. This attack took place in center of Kabul city in Haji Yaqoob Square.
Mr. Saeedi has been transferred to Kabul emergency hospital after attack and his relatives report that his health condition is not serious.
Security officials say that, there was terrorist group terrorist before on Mr. Saeedi.
According to a police and NDS, the investigation in this case has been started and the results will be provided to the public later.
Afghanistan’s National Journalists Union while is concerned of this incident and the health condition of Mr. Saeedi is in close contact with security institutions and wants a serious follow-up of the incident and identify the perpetrators.
