In the 15th of Aqrab according with 7th November 2015 Maulavi Ghulam Jilani Aurfani a religious scholar and owner of local radio Saadat was murder by a magnetic car bomb exploding his car. The incident occurred when Mr. Jilani was moving from home to his workplace, Due to this blast Mr. Jilani killed, one of his daughter and son also injured.
While Mr. Jilani was a religious scholar, he was also operating the local Radio Saadat, this radio was always broadcasting religious issues at the helm, and had wide range of audience among the local people, and the radio was established nearly six years ago by Mr. Jilani and was active in this province.
Still no one has taken the responsibility for killing Mr. Jilani, Mohammad Ali Ahmadi, the deputy provincial governor confirmed the news, adding: “The intelligence agencies are continuing efforts to arrest the perpetrators of the murder of Mr. Jilani”.
At the same time, Asadullah Jalalzai representative of Afghanistan’s National Journalists Union in Ghazni province of Afghanistan, concerns about killing a chief editor of one of the province’s active media and asking the security agencies to have better and proper security for the journalists in the province.
