Participation of Afghan Journalists on the Occasion of Completing Fifty

The Peshawar News Club had invited a number of Afghani journalists in order to attend the celebration of fiftieth year of its inauguration. A group containing 13 Afghan reporters participated in this event which was held last week. Hamid Mir, the famous Pakistani journalist who was one of the guests of this gathering said: “The Peshawar News Club has done well inviting Afghan journalists too so that we could discuss our common challenges and problems.”

While welcoming the Afghan journalists, Naser Hussain, the Head of Peshawar News Club emphasized that journalists in both countries are facing the same challenges and problems.”

The Editor of Afghan Zariza website and magazine, Saer Zaland who was talking on behalf of Afghanistan’s journalists insisted on challenges ahead of journalists of both countries while appreciating inviting them to the celebration. He also said that journalists in both countries are facing deadly problems.

At the end of the event, a number of gifts were provided to some journalists among whom Aziz Ahmad Tasal, Afghan reporter was gifted too. Thanking the Peshawar New Club , Tasal said  holding such meetings between two countries are beneficial for the journalists of both countries.
