Afghanistan’s national workers and employees honored the number of journalists and media professionals.
In a ceremony held on may 1st, according to international workers’ day and 3rd may press freedom day, The national worker union of Afghanistan honored the media professionals and journalists and reward them medals.
At the ceremony, Afghanistan national journalist federation president Abdul Hameed Mubarez, name the most veteran media figure of the country and Faheem Dashty, executive chairman of ANJU, Sediq Tawhedi president of media watch and Abdul Majeed Khelwatgar president of NAI have been received the Afghanistan worker unions medals.
Also number of journalists and media institutes which had well covered critical situation received rewards from this union.
The speakers of yesterday’s ceremony emphasize on right and privileges of media workers especially media workers and to design and approve the legislation and also to guarantee and secure their rights.
Afghanistan’s National Journalists Union and Afghanistan’s National Workers Union have signed cooperation agreement that they will jointly work to secure the workers right and privileges especially media worker rights and to secure them.
