
This seminar which was held on 1393/9/7, organized by Deutsche Welle in Kabul - was attended by Afghanistan’s National Journalists Union (ANJU) representatives, representatives from Mediothek office, Journalism Faculty authorities from Herat, Balkh, Khost and Kabul provinces as well as representatives from some of the media outlets from Bamyan and was ended on 1393/9/8.
During this two days long meeting discussion over issues such as enhancing the journalism faculty students’ capacity, introducing them to the new techniques and tools of media and facilitating opportunities for these students in order to find jobs for themselves.
This meeting was concluded with commitments of educational authorities and media outlets on bilateral cooperation in order to enhance the capacity of reporters and students of journalism faculty in the country.
As the biggest cooperative body of the journalists in Afghanistan, the ANJU promised to work over a specific work plan in order to establish connection between the universities of the country and the media outlets as well as creating proper educational opportunities for students on the country level.
This is while that ANJU is working actively in 28 provinces of Afghanistan and approximately 1,500 reporters and journalists have the membership of this institution.
