
Syed Mauladaad Yaqubi a 29 year old Herati reporter passed away today in New Delhi, capital of India. Yaqubi had been suffering illness since eight months and doctors had recently diagnosed that the reason behind his illness was existence of cerebral tumor.
Yaqubi who was working both with as reporter with Pajhwok News Agency and Aryana TV was sent to India with the support of a number of his reporter colleagues and supporting institutions of reporters. Doctors diagnosed the tumor in its last stages of cancer and in spite of the ongoing treatment in recent weeks, finally Yaqubi passed away.
The Afghanistan’s National Journalists Union’s (ANUJ) leadership is taking expiry of Yaqubi as a big wastage for the Afghan media and wishes him rest in peace.

Syed Mauladaad Yaqubi, son of Syed Amin Karbalaye was born on 1985 in Buqran district of Helmand province and was graduated of 12th grade of a school in Herat province.
Yaqubi was working as a photojournalist and reporter since 2009 for media outlets such as Herat National TV, Pajhwok News Agency, Aryana TV and Helmand Media Watch website.
Yaqubi who had the membership of ANJU and another number of other media institutions was among the honest and hard working reporter who was lesser trained professionally but had enabled himself to learn rapidly and was well observing the social manners and reporting behaviors.
He was speaking less compared to others and used to look nervous all the time and mostly was not talking about his problems and was fighting the life problems, specially poverty.
Mauladaad’s mother was expired a year ago and his father is blind and suffering palsy and his wife is also suffering illness. He has left two kids, a daughter and a son.
And end of this story, Mauladaad passed away after 29 years of life and 8 years of reporting career and went out of our mass.
