Last noon, Khalid Agah Yaqoubi the journalist of the local radio of Lahza in mazar e sharif was killed. The reason of this murder is not clear and the doers of the murder have’n been identified yet. Balkh’s police authorities’ headquarters has said, that their investigation about this case has started, but they have not reached to any result yet. Abdul Rahman rahimi the head of police in Balkh has said to journalists: “the bullet has hit the throat of Yaqoubi and he has been died before getting to the hospital.”
According to the declaration of Lahza radio’s authorities, Yaqoubi has been cooperating with the providing of social dramas since five years.
Mohammad Fahim Haqbin Head of Lahza Radio says:” the primary information shows that armed individuals have entered Yaqoubi’s house and killed him.”
The family members of Yaqoubi says: “he had no animosity against anyone.” They ask the security institutions to investigate his case seriously and rapidly.
Khalid Agah Yaqoubi was 27 years old, married and had two children of seven and four years old.
Fardeen Ferdous in charge of ANJU office in Mazar e Sharif says that Media supporting organizations with cooperation of security forces try to identify the reasons of Yaqoubi’s murder and pursuit it.
