
Director of criminals’ department of Herat and police chief commander of Herat have apologies from journalism community and journalist for his offensive behavior and his illegally detaining.
Mr. Qadir Shaheen, ANJU’s representative in Herat says: following protest and demanding justice of media support advocacies for the sake of insulting a journalists and temporary detention of a journalists by police, Herat chief police command and director of criminal department officially apology from the journalists and journalists’ community.
Abdul Bari Rahmani director of criminal department of police command center in heart, on Wednesday 27 Aassad on a press conference with media and journalists’ advocacy organizations in Herat official apology from Mr. Nek Khawa Isteqlal TVs reporter and expressed his discontent regarding the police behaviors with him.
Husain Nekhawa, Isteqlal Local TV reporter in Herat when he was trying to filming an incident at 8 p.m on Sunday 24 Assad, has been verbally abused and illegally detained for about half hour by police officers.
Following this incident, media and journalists’ advocacy institutes in Herat in a press conference started investigation about this issue and then spoke with prosecutor of herat and police chief and asked them to response to this incident.

Journalism institution of Herat also in their last meeting requested the central government to fulfill the promises of the president in terms of support and prevention of violence against journalists and reporter.
