A number of Journalists and media activists participated the meeting that was held yesterday in Badakhshan province. The participant of the meeting raised their objections against insulting a journalist by bodyguards of Badakhshan governor.
Mr. Abdul Basir Haqjo, chief of Amo Radio was insulted by provincial guards during a visit to the headquarters of Badakhshan province last Tuesday.
Mr. Haqjo besides being the chief of Radio Amo, also works as director of a few other Medias in Badakhshan province.
The participants of yesterday’s meeting issued a resolution in which stated that: “as long as this issue is not seriously not addressed by the governor of Badakhshan province, the journalists would not cover and broadcast the activities of Badakhshan governor.”
