Four employees of National Radio & Television station of Nangarhar province were martyred in today’s attack on its headquarters.
A statement issued by the governor office of Nangarhar provine states that two of these martyrs were technical and broadcasting staff, one of them was a driver and the other one was a security guard.
Shershah Hamdard the representative of ANJU in Nangarhar province says: “in the time of the attack, tens of Radio & Television’s employees were inside the building, however fortunately most of them successfully fled the site and unfortunately four of them were martyred.”
According to Hamdard, the building and equipment of the station was also severely damaged as a result of the attacks.
