In a terrorist attack on “Kabul Serena Hotel” Along with other victims, Afghan Journalist Sardar Ahmad , His waif and two children have been killed last night. The only remained member of Sardar Ahmad’s family is a child who is not even one years old which was also injured in the incident and was taken to the Hospital. In last few weeks the violence and killing of journalists are increased.
During the last two weeks, in one hand a Swedish Journalist was killed in Kabul City by unknown people and in other hand a journalist faced violence by presidential campaign officials of Dr. Zolmay Rassoul in Herat and was jailed for a few hours in their office and in the latest case of violence, two journalists and Media activists were illegally interrogated by attorney of Baghlan Province.
These cases, especially killing of Sardar Ahamd, his wife and two children made the journalists and Media professional to strictly react.
Number of Journalists and advocacy institution officials of freedom of expression declared that the news from Taliban and Terrorists groups must be boycotted.
Mr. Faheem Dashty, chief executive director of ANJU says: “soon a meeting will be held with Journalists and advocacy institution of Journalists to make a vast harmony for boycotting news from terrorist groups.
