Mr. Faizi who was suffering from cancer for two years, died last night in a hospital in Herat.
Late Mr. Faizi was an active journalist for one and a half decade; however he was unable to perform his duties due to his illness and being under constant treatment.
During his illness times, Mr. Faizi was under treatment in Pakistan, India, and Turkey; but finally he passed away.
Afghanistan’s National Jouranlists Union (ANJU) sends its deepest condolences to Mr. Faizi’s family, friends, and colleagues and prays for his soul to rest in peace.
