A Swedish Journalist is shot to death in Wazir Akbar Khan district of Kabul.
Niels Henry, The Swedish Radio Journalist in Kabul was allegedly assassinated by unidentified gunmen this morning.
Kabul Police officials says that they started a vast investigation according to this incident and shortly they will present the results of the investigation to public..
In other hands, The Swedish embassy in Kabul while expressing their condolence announced that they are in touch with Afghan Police officials to find out the cause of this incident.
Media Supporting agencies in Kabul condemned this incident and requested for identification of perpetrators by Police officials.
Mohammad Faheem Dashty, Executive director of Afghanistan's National Journalists Union says: “ violence against journalists especially Killing is not toleratable, and the government must straggle to guarantee the safety of Journalists”.
While expressing his condolence to the family of Niels Harner, He also included: “ we will struggle to be in close contact with Police officials to find out the causes and perpetrators of the incident” Mr. Niels Harnr is the sixth foreign journalists that is being killed in Afghanistan Since the fall of Taliban regime.
